Twitter has unveiled a new feature called Tweet Button, which encourages people to share links through Twitter. (See the video above)

Web developers can add a few lines of code to their Web sites, and a small tweet icon will appear below each article. 

Earlier this year Twitter introduced its own mobile client for the iPhone and Android platform, and implemented its own URL shortening.

With these moves Twitter tries to take control of more assets within its network.
