A YouTube's executive gave last week in Smash Summit in San Francisco some interesting tips for businesses:
- Produce an anchor video capable of attracting 5,000 or more views in order to ensure it shows up in YouTube's search results and the list of related videos.
- Take care of your SEO. Pay good attention to metadata when uploading video.
- Follow the sample of Salesforce, which has more than 300 videos on YouTube and accumulated around 6,000 views per day.
YouTube is now the world's second largest search engine.
According to the company, half of its daily views come from videos that have been on the site for six months or longer.
